Anyone following the news has heard the hype about the “Swine Flu” (which ironically has nothing to do with pigs). People across the country are buying up N95 face masks, sanitizers, and disinfectants to try to avoid the flu. What they don’t realize is that the most important way to avoid getting the Swine Flu is to have a healthy immune system.
This low fat smoothie recipe is one I drink a lot of whenever I start to feel a cold or flu symptoms coming on, and it helps me to stay healthy throughout the year. It’s packed with citrus and vitamin C, including a supplement that can also be used by itself.
